Known as the "male" portion of a twin, double, or joined pivot set when combined with a raised pivot back. Serrated tack is permanently attached. We stock attached tack lengths of 3/8" (standard) and 3/4". Other tack lengths may be available by special order —please call.

Excellent for pillow, duvets, window treatments, apparel, or wherever a button on both sides of an application is desired. When combined, tack holds pivot back firmly in place; sets will not separate under normal conditions. Rust-resistant finish; tack is zinc or nickel plated, depending on availability.

Use pivot tack backs alone to create perfect thumbtacks. Consider using a clasp to secure pivot tacks from behind —fast and easy attachment allows button to be re-positioned, if necessary.

NOTE: We don't recommend frequent movement of tacks as tack serrations can cause fabric damage. We also don't recommend using pivot tack buttons as tie tacks for the same reason.

Pivot tack backs meet international standards in all sizes. Fits most American standard button dies, although some older dies (e.g., Maxant) have solid interiors and cannot accommodate backs with attached tacks.
