Sometimes called a cardboard wad, inserts are combined with Flat Backs to create custom buttons. Push findings (such as tacks, screws, or posts) through the hole and fit insert on top to secure them. You may set findings with a drop of hot glue before dropping insert on top, if desired.

Insert sizes correspond to their intended button sizes; they are slightly smaller and designed to fit inside the back.
