West Village Studio was established in 2003 as a custom cushion and slipcover workroom. Our Workroom Buttons division began in 2008 to
provide the custom workroom industry with an informed and educated
source for covered button supplies and equipment.
As an American company, we are deeply committed to purchasing inventory directly from American mills and factories. West Village Studio is an authorized distributor for C.S. Osborne & Co. and Handy Button Company, and many other smaller companies.
Owner Dede O'Hair started sewing on her mother's Kenmore at the tender age of five. Her award-winning work has appeared on the A&E Television Network and is often showcased in regional publications. She is a frequent contributor to several trade journals, and teaches at industry conferences throughout the country.
